Here we go. . .

This will be my first post. My life is very full right now. Ben and I have been busy going to Jazz games, meeting friends for genuine italian pizza, and beginning to plan our adventures for this summer. We are looking forward to spending time as a family on the boat, at my parent's cabin, and having BBQ's at our house. Emma seems to be running from one thing to another without much time in between. Since she doesn't get home from school until 4:20pm there isn't much time. She is enjoying taking ballet and tap classes. We just signed Bridger up for T-ball tonight. He is looking forward to doing something like his sister.

My job at the Salt Lake City for the Performing Arts (SLSPA) is getting busy. I am preparing my dancers for our spring showcase. I am choreographing and some of my students are also. It will be quite a production with around 80+ students.

Another part of my job at SLSPA has begun this week with Jared (the acting teacher) and I holding auditions for a show we are doing. The play is called "Who'll Carry the Word". It is about a group of women that are in a concentration camp in during the Holocaust. In the play some of the women die, this is where I will choreograph a dance depicting them being released from their bondage. The women wear scarves on their head until they die. At this point the scarf is taken off and their hair comes free. I am looking forward to working with the cast at SLSPA.

Tonight I have spent some time cleaning the carpets at my house because I am hosting a baby shower for my sister, Heather, on Saturday. I am really looking forward to doing this for Heather. She is so amazing and has supported me through so many things. I am excited for baby, Nikki to come! It will be great to have another baby in the family.

All in all my life is full and I feel very blessed! Oh - and now that we have a blog I will try to do better about taking my camera with me places!
