Utah Jazz

I have to get something off my chest. I have been to two Jazz games in the past two weeks. Utah won both of those games. Of course they did, they were home games, with the best home record in the NBA, 17 straight home wins and only 3 home loses total. What really makes me upset is the Utah fans. In all of the games I have been to in the last year, fans have gotten up and left the game early. As fans in Utah we continually want to be respected as a national sports city. But how can we be respected if we don't support our teams all the way to the end of the game, win or lose. I don't care if Utah is up or down by 30 points. Stay and support the teams you go to see. Don't leave early just so you "can beat the traffic", and get home 5-10 minutes earlier. Your team needs your support. And if you are leaving early to beat traffic, don't ever go to California, you couldn't handle it. Last night Energy Solutions Arena was half empty at the end of the game because people left early. The people in front of me left the game last night with 8 minutes and 48 seconds left in the game. Sure the Jazz had a huge lead. But we all know that 4th quarters aren't always good on the Jazz. Who knows what could happen, and those players could use a ton of fans supporting them in crunch time. I remember watching the Indiana Pacers Reggie Miller years ago sink 3 3-pointers in the last 8 seconds of a game to bring them to victory. You wouldn't have wanted to miss that comeback.

Go Jazz, Go Utes, Go Broncos.
